Nirali Patel (’22) is a first-generation student pursuing her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at UW–Madison. As an undergraduate student, she worked for the Multicultural Learning Community (MLC), a University Housing initiative designed to help UW students personally and academically succeed by connecting residents to campus and academic resources. Through MLC she developed programming skills and worked with a diverse group of students to learn about multiculturalism, diversity and social justice. She is excited to continue working with underrepresented scholars at UW–Madison by supporting them in their academic goals with Academic Coaching and Tutoring Services. She enjoys walking, being active, and cooking in her free time.
