Jeff Friedman

Hello! I am currently a first-year student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program here at UW-Madison. Originally from Spokane, Washington, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at George Fox University where I also played collegiate soccer. Along with my own classes, I’ve gained work experience in academic settings at both undergraduate and graduate levels. During undergrad, I was employed as a work-study student through the George Fox Exercise Science department. At UW-Madison, I served as a TA for the Kinesiology department, specifically for A&P 235 during the fall semester of 2023. Through my education and work experiences, I’ve gained an appreciation for the skills crucial for academic success, and I’m excited to assist ACTS students on their own academic journeys.

Outside of school, I have a passion for any sort of exercise (running, weight training, etc.). Spending my whole life on the west coast, I have loved exploring all the various spots in Madison, and it’s been exciting to live in a completely different part of the country.
